Even if you are fired, you can actually get another job with a increased salary. Recession and layoffs are temporary as long as one is ready to reskill and upskill.
Your salary is only as good as your imagination. Most people tend to compare their salaries with other colleagues and end up being under paid. If you are paid Rs 5 LPA and your colleague is paid Rs 7LPA then you tend to make Rs 7LPA as your target.
